Dear Aspen,

Thank you for being my best friend. From the moment that I met you as a puppy, I knew that we shared a special bond. Thank you for being my favorite one to share my happiness and sorrows with over the past 10 years. You were my favorite one to love on first thing in the morning and last thing to spoil at night, and during many, many daily moments in between.

I am having a painful time not having you in my life now that you have moved on, but know that you are deeply missed and you will always possess a large piece of my heart. I love you Aspen Bear! I hope that our souls meet again, my sweet girl.
