Tudder Edelman

September 15, 1995 – May 25, 2012

"God blessed, Tudder."

Tudder Edelman passed away peacefully just after sunset on Friday, May 25 with the loving guidance of Dr. Jason Cordeiro. In his final days, Tudder was able to say goodbye to his many loved ones on beautiful terms.

His knack for comfort and cuteness, his independence and leadership and his carpe deim approach made him a superstar to all who were lucky enough to have known him. In his later years, his passion for life never waned as his physical form started to fail. His natural way of accepting his limitations and moving on inspired all of those around him.

Amongst the many accomplishments and capers on Tudder's incredible 200-month journey:

Climbing 7 Fourteeners. To include Grays and Torries (2x each), Mt. Quandry, Mt. Massive and Mt. Evans. All at 16 lbs with 8 inch long legs.
Tudder was known to lead families out of the Arapaho national forest on several occasions.
He had award winning poems written about him that were later published in the Denver Post.
And on one hot summer day, Tudder and his best bud Remy broke out of their house, circumvented the fencing around a local town's water treatment facility and went for a joy ride of a swim. He cemented his legend in the neighborhood!
It is also rumored that Tudder received 16 write in votes in the 2010 Denver Mayoral elections.

He will always be remembered, and forever missed, by his family.
